THE COALITION FOR PEACE AND COEXISTENCE
Our Story
The Coalition for Peace and Coexistence (CPC) was founded by Inuka Tatton in May–June 2025 — but its story began much earlier.
Following the outbreak of the October 7 conflict, Inuka launched MENA Geopolitical, a news and analysis platform hosted on Medium. This would become the precursor to the CPC. What began as a solo project quickly evolved into a hub for regional commentary and peace-focused reporting. With over 350 articles, it is now Medium's largest Israel–Palestine publication, drawing over 5,000 monthly reads and home to 14+ contributors and counting.
In early 2025, Inuka laid further groundwork through the creation of the ‘Peace for Israel and Palestine’ publication. This initiative introduced early-stage collaboration and helped test the foundation for a broader platform.
Then came April.
In the space of two months, Inuka orchestrated two international peacebuilding conferences, held on May 25 and May 31, 2025. The first, focused on geopolitical context, brought together diplomats, academics, journalists, and civil society figures. The second conference, titled "Solution-Driven Strategies for Peace," offered proposals for peace from across the political and generational spectrum.
On the back of these successful events — and in response to growing interest — the CPC was officially launched as a global organisation. The original website was created shortly after. However, due to platform limitations and growing demand, this new and improved site was developed.
Our Purpose
The CPC was founded on a single, disruptive idea:
The peacebuilding sector does not need another proposal. It needs a platform for connection.
We did not launch with a plan, a petition, or a political stance. Instead, we launched with a commitment: to foster dialogue, build understanding, and unify people without taking sides.
What We Stand For
As we grow, we are guided by three foundational principles:
-
Freedom of Access & Independence:
CPC will always remain free to access and independent of government or institutional funding. We rely on our community — not gatekeepers — for sustainability. -
Radical Neutrality:
We collaborate with and publish contributions from all voices — regardless of age, race, gender, religion, nationality, or political orientation. -
Decentralised Structure, Shared Leadership:
While led by Inuka Tatton and supported by an Israeli and Palestinian representative, most of CPC’s work operates on an equal footing to avoid power imbalances.
The CPC is still young — but its impact is already being felt.
Through conferences, publications, partnerships, and an expanding global community, we are proving that peace is not only possible — it is being built, right now, by people like you.
